The development of product portfolio is based on knowledge stemming from clinical development of the first product of Cellerix, Ontaril, which allowed for demonstrating the safety and high immunomodulatory potential of adult stem cells derived from adipose tissue in an autologous environment (cells from patients themselves). Cellerix intends to capitalize on this effect for developing allogeneic medicinal products (cells from a donor) to treat inflammatory and autoimmune diseases.
Cellerix is also working in development of Cx911, a new approach based on use of regulatory T cells for the treatment of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.
